Our favorite place to go is to the beach. It is our goal to find the best place in the world to "Bob" (floating in the water letting the waves move you). The Salted section of our blog is all about the places we go to that involve the ocean....and maybe a strawberry daiquiri!

Since we live in Michigan, it is like having your own ocean but without the salt and sharks! Some of our favorite places to go in Michigan revolve around a lake or river. I was once told that in Michigan, you are never more than 3 miles from any source of water......lake, pond, river, stream, or spring. We love our great state and lakes.
Who are we?
Geezers Gone Rogue
We are Kathy and Karen. We are both pharmacists. Kathy is retired. Karen....not so much. We like to travel with friends and have fun. We are not skinny or athletic. We are not like some of the other bloggers who are super athletic and travel all over the world to exotic places. Karen has had a hip replaced. Kathy has bad knees. We like to travel with a group of friends that often range in ages from mid-twenties to the early seventies. Some of us are diabetic, have asthma, and need gluten free. We have issues.....just like most people. Our purpose with this blog is to travel and to share with you the good things about our adventures and the not so good things about our adventures. We will tell you about things we enjoyed doing and maybe some things you should avoid.
So, if you are interested in hearing about real people going to "real" places (places that you might actually go to yourself) then this is the place for you! Come Go Rogue with us as we explore the world and try to live our best lives! Who knows, maybe you will Go Rogue yourself!
